In our interviews we have listened to many inspiring stories about innovative projects for a sustainable future. Even though the cases represent a wide variety of sectors, research areas, and stages of the innovation process, we soon realized that they had some common denominators. A pattern that repeated itself in interview after interview. We summarized them in eight Success Factors.
In this section we share these insights with you. For each success factor, we start by describing a related happening, a good example from history. The oldest example is from World war II and the most modern one is from 2020. We explain how this was expressed in the interviews and exemplify with some inspiring quotes from our respondents. Last, but not least, we offer you some possible strategic actions based on learnings from the interviews.
We hope that you find these success factors useful and valuable to your organization, when working with or for innovation. If you have any questions about the material or insights, please do not hesitate to contact us. We love to discuss innovation and sustainable development!
